The two lounges bring a colonial flair but also gives a homely feeling with Persian-rugs, chandeliers, art pieces, collector’s items and antiques, which creates for the perfect spot to sit back and read a book, and if you want with a crackling fire in the background.
Except for the fact that it is a true sanctuary that you don’t want to leave, Highgrove Country House Hotel, true beauty lies in the fact that it is close to many attractions in the Lowveld and is it a mere 20 min drive to Numbi Gate that leads you to Pretoriuskop, one of the oldest camps of the Kruger National Park and where some of the first tourist huts were built in 1927. Thus, forming part of the tourism history of this area. Guests can then enjoy full days in the Kruger National Park and can cover areas such as Skukuza known for its predators but come back after your long day to your own little secret garden and sanctuary.
